As a visitor to the Nordic Organic Food Fair and Natural Beauty & Health Show , there are many things you can do to be sustainable and reduce your environmental impact. Here are some suggestions:

Bring a reusable water bottle

Instead of buying plastic water bottles, bring your own reusable water bottle and fill up at the water filling stations around MalmöMässan. This will help reduce the amount of plastic waste generated at the event.

Use public transport or carshare

Try to use public transport to get to the event if you can. If not, consider a car share with other attendees to reduce the number of cars on the road and lower carbon emissions.

Bring your own bag

If you think you might buy or pick up samples or giveaways at the event, bring your own reusable bag. This reduces the number of bags that are used and ultimately end up in landfills.

Eat sustainably

The catering in Malmömässan is by Mässrestauranger which is a KRAV certified restaurant.
They work first and foremost with locally grown and organic produce and have a set goal to keep the usage of disposables at a minimum.

Recycle your plastic, cans, and paper rubbish

All trash that is disposed at Malmömässan is first compressed for efficient shipment onsite. After this it is sent to a terminal for recycling where all trash is sorted and recycled. This way Malmömässan handles trash in the most userfriendly and space efficient way. There are also special bins around the venue where you can recycle your used plastic bottles. These bottles are recycled and turned into new plastic bottles through the company Pantamera

Use your time at the event to reduce travel at other times

Consider how you can make the most of your time at the event to reduce your travel for meetings at other times of the year.

By taking these steps, you can help make the Nordic Organic Food Fair and Natural Beauty & Health Show  more sustainable and reduce your environmental impact.
