Attention to detail continues after cultivation and drying. The final sorting stages determine product purity and consistency. Advanced gravity separators and high-performance color sorters are employed to ensure that only the premium plant material proceeds to the next phase. These technologies improve overall product integrity. Through these sorting techniques, Field and Forest provides precision and purity, offering advanced products.

German chamomile products with emphasis on therapeutic properties
Field and Forest offers four premium forms of dried organic German Chamomile to our B2B clients; each suited to specific applications requirements, available also according to European Pharmacopeia standard:

Chamomile flowerheads product
Chamomile Flowerheads:
At the peak flowering time, chamomile flowerheads are carefully harvested. Followed by gentle drying to preserve their natural aroma, color, and bioactive compounds, offering a complete botanical profile. Perfect for food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical use. Stems are no longer than 1 cm.

Chamomile Extraction Cut:
Suitable for efficient extraction. This format is ideal for use in herbal infusions, tinctures, and further processing into botanical extracts, concentrates, essential oils and hydrosols.

Chamomile Tubular Flowers (Pulvis):
This fine form consists predominantly of the tubular (central) parts of the flower head. Rich in essential oils, it is particularly valued in phototherapeutic applications, for pharmaceutical use and fine cosmetic formulations where high active compound content are critical.

Chamomile Ligulate Flowers (White Petals):
Carefully separated, and sorted, rich in apigenin, the ligulate white petals are prized for their gentle properties. Often used in high-end cosmetic products, tea blends.
