Rasmus Prehn has been CEO of Organic Denmark since March 2025. Upon his appointment, he described the role not only as a dream job but as a personal mission to advance more and better organic solutions. He served as a Member of the Danish Parliament for the Social Democrats from 2005 to 2025, including roles as Minister for Development Cooperation and later as Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries (2019–2022). He is also the author of several books on politics and civil society.
