In the Southern Greek province of Messinia, extending all the way to the seashores, the area of Trifyllia is one of the most productive for high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
Renowned for its long-standing tradition in cultivation and production, it is classified among the best territories responsible for the production of the globally acclaimed Kalamata PDO olive oil. It is here that Archetypon was established, embodying the collective experience of the local population.
The memories Archetypon evokes are deeply rooted, reflecting the family’s role in everyday rituals and practices such as the olive harvest, the preparation of food, the shared table and the ethos of hospitality. These are the core elements of Greek gastronomy, where tradition and culture are kept together by the centuries-old organically cultivated Koroneiki olives, creating a well balanced and healthy extra virgin olive oil of very low acidity, excellent organoleptic characteristics and a high percentage of phenols.

Olive Groves Archetypon was founded in 2020 by Greek architect and olive oil producer Elina Poulou, aiming to promote premium extra virgin olive oil, produced by Greek traditional olive groves and at the same time to help small greek farms design their agritourism units.
In 2022, Archetypon Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil was first bottled, a limited edition olive oil that comes from the family’s organically cultivated estate in Filiatra, Messinia. At the same time, Archetypon’s Athens Boutique Shop was established in the center of Athens, offering olive oil tasting seminars to locals and foreign travelers.
In 2024, two hospitality agritouristic projects were launched, Archetypon’s Athens Boutique Suite and Archetypon’s Kalamata Central Apartment, welcoming travelers to the land of olive oil, offering olive oil tasting along with Mediterranean cuisine cooking lessons.
