Roots of Malmö Kombucha was founded in 2013 by two researchers from Lund University, with a passion for fermentation and a mission to bring delicious, healthy, probiotic and non-alcoholic fermented beverages to supermarkets and restaurants across Europe. One of the earliest commercial kombucha breweries in Europe, Roots Kombucha is loved for its great (award-winning) taste, live microbes (unfiltered, unpasteurized), very low sugar content, and great flavors, which are made from 100% whole botanical ingredients. In addition to kombucha, kefir, kvass and ginger beer produced under the Roots brand, Roots of Malmö produces and packages fermented beverages for a number of other brands across the Nordics.
