The Finalists
- Smak av Svea by Protos – A KRAV-certified charcuterie concept featuring bacon and sandwich meats from outdoor pigs raised year-round on pasture. With only 1% of Sweden’s pigs living outdoors, this initiative is a powerful step toward better animal welfare and consumer choice.
- Bulgur av Korn by Good Grains – A modern take on ancient grains, this hydrothermally treated barley bulgur enhances mineral absorption and offers a climate-smart alternative to rice and pasta. Available in bulk for foodservice, it brings nutrition and sustainability to large-scale kitchens.
- Crushed Tomatoes by Kung Markatta – A pantry staple reimagined with eco-conscious packaging and a strong sustainability profile. Following concerns over bisphenol A in cans, Kung Markatta swiftly launched a safer, greener alternative.
