Conservas Calanda is a distinguished company located in the province of Teruel, within the Autonomous Community of Aragon, Spain. This region, along with its neighbors Navarre and La Rioja, is a major hub for vegetable and fruit preserves, with Aragon standing out as the second-largest producer in the country.
At Conservas Calanda, our focus is on creating exceptional prunes. We source the plums directly from our own orchards, ensuring that we maintain a high standard of quality from the very beginning. The process begins in our modern processing plant, where the plums are dried in state-of-the-art ovens. These ovens are celebrated for their robustness, simplicity, and advanced technology, which allows us to achieve a very stable and consistent humidity in our prunes.
The prunes are then moved to a specialized processing area, features the latest technology. Here, the prunes are carefully tenderized, automatically pitted, and packed. We adhere to the strictest food safety standards throughout this process to guarantee that our customers receive a premium, high-quality product.
Our Organic Dried Pitted Prunes are a testament to our commitment to natural quality. Sourced from our local Teruel orchards, these prunes are appreciated for their purity and are always free of any preservatives. They are naturally sweet and succulent, making them an excellent source of fiber and loaded with antioxidants. We are also actively working to expand our export market by participating in key national and international fairs like Gulfood, Sial Paris, Anuga, and Nordic Organic Expo
