About us

The company was established in 2017 by Konstantinos Antonakakis (Biologist MSc) who initially created a microbrewery under the brand name “KASTA microbrews”.
The product portfolio of the company expanded during the last few years with the addition of two certified organic beverages, one non-alcoholic and one distilled spirit:
A) “Forty Herbs Organic Sparkling Ice Tea”. A very healthy and innovative sparkling herbal mix/tea, non-alcoholic, 100% pure & natural, free from any additives (fortyherbsextract.com)
B) “Truce of Gin” - Organic Premium Gin. A ful-flavored smooth organic - 100% distilled - premium gin (truceofgin.com)

Forty Herbs Organic Sparkling Ice Tea

FORTY HERBS Organic Sparkling Tea is the revival of a traditional herbal tea recipe that passes down through generations in Crete, Greece. Inspired by this great old recipe we create a new version with nine native herbs. Traditionally, this tea was used as a natural remedy for all kinds of diseases and was believed to prolong life indefinitely. Tasty while healthy, FORTY HERBS is the perfect alternative to our good old-fashioned drinks and refreshments. With respect to the everlasting wisdom of tradition, it holds the herbs’ natural characteristics and healthy properties, the taste, aroma and color with no additives, sugar or sweeteners. Right before bottling, a touch of carbonation adds a sparkle to this memorable drinking experience. Our label reflects back on the island of Crete, Greece, the land of origin of the FORTY HERBS recipe. We chose the kri-kri (Capra aegagrus creticus), a wild goat that can be found on Crete only, to be our protagonist. Also known as the Cretan goat, Agrimi or Cretan Ibex, this rare animal has grown to become a symbol of the island’s culture and unique mentality. Selected spices, herbs and fruits of organic farming blend together into a uniquely aromatic and soft Gin. It works well in nearly all applications; straight, on the rocks, neat, into any cocktail and of course with a premium tonic water for a great Gin & Tonic! Tasting Notes: Sweet herbal nose. Woody, forest-like. Lots of fresh pine, earthiness, liquorice notes. More bitter on the palate, compared to the nose. Yellow fruits - approachable and easy. The nose is proper lemon sherbert, cut grass and juniper. On the palate, the citrus remains.
