About us

Imepa srl is a manufacturing company established in 1932 in the area that has been well known since the time of the Ancient Roman Empire as "Campania Felix" for the peaceful environment, the healthy climate and the soil made extremely fertile by the several eruptions of the still active volcano (Vesuvio).

For over 90 years, the onwers, who have currently reached their third generation, have dedicated their entire life to processing the best vegetables that are grown in the neighbouring areas as well as in several other areas, in all the South of Italy.

The core business of the company is processing and packing spices, herbs and vegetables, that are supplied worldwide along with several finished products, such as Ready Sauces, Vegetables in Oil, Dehydrated Seasonings for Pasta, and Ready Risotto.

In addition Imepa is one of the largest producers of Sweet and Chili Pepper Paste in Italy.

The company products are certified by some international standard quality control organizations, such as IFS and BRC.

Imepa is also certified to comply with the Kosher (including Parve) and the Halal requirements.

In addition, the company is accredited to process, store and trade Organic Products.

The company brands, "La Gustosa" and "La Macina Rossa", that were respectively registered in 1954 and 1935, are well know and appreciated, but the company also specializes in the production under private label.
