      Agiasmeno Honey, Region of Peloponnese

The tradition of the Athanassios Dimakopoulou family in beekeeping began around 1957 when Mr. Thanasis decided to deal with bees and their products. In Stemnitsa, his place of origin, he took his first steps since the area, but also the whole of Arcadia, is known for its rich bee pastures. Initially out of curiosity about the wonderful world of bees and then professionally. He passed on this true love of bees to his sons, since at a very young age they have learned to take care of the apiaries with love and dedication. Today the profession of “Apiarist – Beekeeper” and family tradition in the field of honey, is continued by Argyris and Antonis. They produce, through natural processes, organic honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis, wax and all the natural and necessary products of bees for humans. The transport of bees to various locations in Greece allows the collection of honey from different honeydews and flowers, creating authentic flavors and a natural pharmacy that protects the human body. Bee products promote health and beauty as their therapeutic properties are extremely important. With years of expertise and an endless love for honey and its products, for Argyris it is much more than a professional occupation. Knowing very well the habits of the bee and maintaining a large number of apiaries throughout the Peloponnese, he has managed to ensure quality. He states characteristically: “Away from conventional crops and pesticides, our bees collect honeydew free from chemicals. This enables us to offer you a pure and natural product, full of nutrients. From the hive to the jar that reaches your hands, we ensure that the honey is subjected to the least possible interventions, without adding or adding anything to it. This is also the main reason why we have an ever-growing clientele and consumers who prefer and promote our products.”

      Arcadia, Region of Peloponnese

Our company operates in the southwestern Peloponnese, in Kyparissia, Messinia —a region renowned for the quality of its agricultural products. From this beautiful town, built amphitheatrically along the Ionian Sea, our products are distributed throughout Greece and internationally. Our philosophy focuses on producing and packaging high-quality local goods. The idea began in the 1970s, when Father Panagiotis Stathopoulos (Papakokkinos) established an 80-acre olive grove in Pyrgakia, Kalo Nero, to cultivate Kalamata olives. His vision was “for his olives to reach the other side of the world.” That grove remains the foundation of our Kalamata olive production today. Inspired by his legacy, we’ve expanded our product range and now process everything in our privately owned packaging facility, located in Rontaki, just outside Kyparissia. Built on 9 acres, with a 750 m² production area, the unit operates under ISO 22000:2015 and was among the first to package Kalamata Olives with PDO certification from the European Union. We produce and pack Elia Kalamatas PDO, Green Olives (whole or pitted), Olive Paste (Kalamata and Green), Sun-Dried Tomatoes (naturally sun-dried), Sun-Dried Tomato Paste, Odorless Garlic, Capers, and Artichoke hearts in Olive Oil with Leek. Our range also includes Extra Virgin Olive Oil PDO Kalamata and Certified Organic Products: Organic Kalamata and Green Olives, Organic Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Organic Olive Paste, and Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Starting from small-town Kyparissia, we cultivate and select top-quality products and package them with care—so they reach your table delicious, healthy, and proudly Greek.
